Just like you, your cat or kitten is a unique individual and feeding requirements will vary with breed, environment, age and activity. That's why we suggest using this chart as a starting point, monitoring your cat or kitten's weight and adjusting rations as needed. We also recommend feeding twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.
When switching diets, it's important to transition your cat or kitten as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in Acana. Over a 10-14 day period, gradually mix in Acana, increasing the amount each day so that by day 14 you are feeding 100% Acana. Serve dry or lightly moistened. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.
